Sponsor a child. Learn how you can make a tax-deductible contribution that will make an immediate, real difference in a child’s life, click here.
Adopt a project. Choose from among the many projects and programs at Hope for Children that, rather than benefiting a single child, benefit all of the children and families supported by Hope for Children. Churches and synagogues, book groups, alumni associations, corporate charitable giving programs, parent-teacher groups, neighborhood organizations, and fraternities/sororities are just some of the groups that we invite to take on a project. Click to see the costs of some specific HFC projects or talk with us about starting a new one.
Become a volunteer. We are a small nonprofit organization that relies entirely on the help of volunteers. By contributing their time and talents, our volunteers have helped us with editing, mass mailings, accounting, donor research, website design, gift wrapping at Barnes & Noble, video editing and fundraising programs, just to name a few. If you are interested in working with us, contact us; we would love to hear from you!
Spread the word. Share your enthusiasm about HFC activities with your friends and neighbors and work together to come up with ways to raise funds.
Make an introduction. We welcome opportunities to speak to groups and individuals about Hope for Children’s work. If you know people who you think might be interested in learning about us, please contact us.
Enlist your school or community. There are many ways that individuals, families and students can help support Hope for Children’s programs. Read some ideas and for examples of how some groups have raised money for Hope for Children. (School community service credit may be available depending on the institution.)
